JuJutsu Kaisen dominates streaming services in Japan for 3 consecutive months!

GEM Partners, a Japanese company that focuses on keeping track of the entertainment industry, revealed its tables in March, showing that the animated adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen was the most watched show in Japan in February, March and April on streaming services.

The company gathered information through the survey of more than 7,000 Japanese a week between the ages of 16 and 69, asking them what shows they watched on services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, U-NEXT, Hulu Japan, Disney +, Docomo Anime Store, dTV, ABEMA Premium, and Pallavi. The company then compiled all the information and presented the results now for the month of April.

Top 10 most streamed shows include:

  1. Neon Genesis Evangelion.
  2. The Walking Dead.
  3. HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documentary (variety program).
  4. Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia).
  5. Yuru Camp 2nd Season (Laid-back camp).
  6. Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime).
  7. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
  8. Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan ).
  9. Detective Conan.
  10. Kaisen Jujutsu.

En general, Kaisen Jujutsu observed a reduction in its viewers comparing month by month, falling 376 points in total, however, even so, the points were slightly less than double those obtained by Detective Conan, who observed an increase of 204 points. This increase is explained by the release of the most recent film, which is also breaking records within the franchise itself. So much Shingeki no Kyojin as Kimetsu no yaiba they also lost one position, but their points narrowly fell.
