Kodansha announces its first original TV anime work Negi Haruba appears as a character draft, Kaori Maeda and others ‘Pon no Michi’ PV released

Kodansha announced on the 23rd that it would produce its first original TV animation work, “Pon no Michi,” and broadcast it in January 2024. At the same time, the teaser visual, PV, central staff, and cast information have been released, and the author of “The Quintessential Quintuplets” serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine, Negi Haruba, will serve as the original character draft for the first time in an actual animation, and voice actor Maeda. Kaori, Iori Saeki, Shion Wakayama, and Yui Kondo will appear.

“Pon no Michi” is an entirely new original animation depicting high school girls living happily in Onomichi using Motojakuso as their playground. Negi Haruba, the author of “Sentai Daishikkaku” and “The Quintessential Quintuplets,” served as the original character draft for the first time in an actual animation, and Minamikawa, who attracted attention with the TV animation “Fire Force Vol. Directed and written by Tatsuma, OLM, which produces the “Pocket Monster” series, is in charge of animation production, and a lovely staff has gathered.

The released teaser PV starts with one of the main characters, Nashiko, with the exciting line “New Yutopia!!” It is a video that depicts daily life.

Kaori Maeda will play the main characters as Nashiko Jippensha, Iori Saeki as Pai Kawahigashi, Shion Wakayama as Izumi Tokutomi, and Yui Kondo as Rieche Hayashi.
