The TV anime “Let’s Play My Life Full of Quests” will begin airing on Fuji TV’s “+Ultra” slot and elsewhere in October. Additional cast members and a teaser PV have also been released.

“Let’s Play My Life Full of Quests” is based on Leeanne M. Krecic’s web comic “Let’s Play,” which is popular among young people in North America. Set in Los Angeles, USA, the story follows Sam, who dreams of becoming a game creator and has zero dating experience, as she quickly becomes close to three men who appear before her, gradually breaking out of her shell. Kana Hanazawa will play the role of the main character, Sam. OLM handles animation production.

The cast members who will play the three men who quickly become close to Sam have been announced. Tsuchiya Shinba will play Marshall Law, a popular game commentator who moves into the room next to Sam’s house. Nakamura Yuichi will play Charles Jones, Sam’s calm and intelligent boss. Sugita Tomokazu will play Link Hudson, Sam’s childhood friend who works at the cafe he frequents. Comments have arrived from Tsuchiya, Nakamura, and Sugita in conjunction with this announcement. In the teaser PV, you can hear the voices of Marshall, played by Tsuchiya, Charles, played by Nakamura, and Link, played by Sugita.

Tsuchiya Shinba (Marshall Law) Comment About Marshall Law, the character I play, Marshall, is a popular game streamer. And I’m not very good at games, so in that respect we’re the complete opposite (laughs). However, I sympathize with his attitude of pouring his passion into the things he loves.

I think that the feeling of being passionate about something you feel is “the one” can be a force that moves people, no matter what it is. I want to portray his straightforwardness and passion while cherishing them carefully. Message to all fans: from the moment I read the work description during the audition, I was drawn to the drama depicted from various perspectives.

I felt even more motivated when I heard that the original work had received significant support in North America. I want to approach the job with enthusiasm so that the charm of this work can be conveyed not only to fans of the original work but also to those who are experiencing it for the first time through this work. Please take a look!

Comment from Yuichi Nakamura (Charles Jones) About Charles Jones, whom I play: he is not cold-hearted, but instead quietly evaluates things. He is a cool character, but I think he thinks and acts based on some belief (this is still unclear at the beginning, so I will leave it vague). I am careful when acting so that I have the correct answer inside me.

Message to all fans: It’s a story like a live-action drama about city life, and it includes the directing and extravagance that are unique to animation. Those who watch it, especially those who are active in society, will be waiting for developments that they will not consider someone else’s problem. I hope you will take the time to watch it before going to sleep and feel empowered by the work, so I hope you will look forward to it.

Comment from Sugita Tomokazu (role of Link Hudson) I don’t think the Link Hudson I play is similar to me at all. That’s probably why it’s so fun to explore. I want to imagine various situations and build the play, such as when he struggles to express his feelings well in front of the person he likes and becomes depressed as a result. Message to all fans: Talent, friendship, and games. I hope that there will be something resonating with you as a familiar theme. Thank you.
