The first PV and key visuals of the anime Douse, Koi Shirunda, have been released, and it has been announced that Yuto Uemura and Azusa Tadokoro will join the cast as additional members.

The first PV of the anime “Douse, Koi Shirunda.” depicts the love and youth of Mizuho (CV: Sakura Shinpuku) and her four childhood friends. The original is a hugely popular girls’ manga by Haruka Mitsui, currently serialized in the monthly “Nakayoshi” (Kodansha). Nicknamed “Koi Shima,” the manga has been published up to volume 9. It is a school youth story depicting the love affair between the protagonist, Mizuho Nishino, and her four childhood friends who grew up like family.

The first PV released this time starts with a casual scene of Mizuho, ​​with no makeup or pretense, walking to school with her childhood friends, Teruzuki, Miku, Ai, and Shugo, who comment on her as they please.

The short video delicately depicts how their high school life drastically changes due to an unexpected event and how the relationship between the five childhood friends changes due to a particular incident. Mizuho, ​​who seems to look back on those days, says, “I also had a dazzling youth,” the video captures the love and youth of the four childhood friends.

The key visual that was also released depicts the same sparkling blue sea as the teaser visual and the five of them, Mizuho, ​​Kizuki, Miku, Ai, and Shugo, sitting on a seaside breakwater. The scene gives a glimpse into the five’s daily lives.

The cast of additional characters was also announced. Yuto Uemura will play the role of Saito Ryosuke (Saito Senpai), and Azusa Tadokoro will play the role of Kurashiki Chinatsu. Uemura commented, “The unfounded confidence and youthfulness of being a student when you are still nothing, and the time you spend with your friends that is sparkling and dazzling because of that.
