In episode 91 of the anime “Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken”, the true form of Daimao Vern and the true identity of Mistburn have finally been revealed. Along with that, the key visual for the “Shin Burn” version has been lifted, and it has been revealed that Toshio Furukawa will play the role of Mistburn’s true identity, “Mist”.

“Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken” started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1989 (Original: Riku Sanjo, Manga: Koji Inada, Supervision: Yuji Horii). About 30 years after its serialization, it has been made into a completely new animation, and this work, which is dynamically expressed with a hybrid of CG and animation drawings, is being broadcast every Saturday at 9:30 am on TV Tokyo affiliates.

In episode 91, “The Truth of Burn”, which was broadcast on August 20, the Great Demon Lord Burn, who was thought to have defeated him, once again stood in front of Dai and others in his true form, and Mist Burn took on the reality of “Mist”. It turns out that the monster that was not there was a being integrated with a young body that was subjected to the secret of freezing time.

With only 100 episodes remaining, the number of episodes left is in the single digits, and only the final battle with the Great Demon King remains. In the place where the old demon king Baan was drawn before, the true Daimao Baan is drawn, and Gome-chan can be seen next to Dai and Pop.

And then, Toshio Furukawa will play the role of Mist, the main body of Mist Burn, which is a collection of dark fighting spirits that have become one with the body of the Great Demon Lord Baan.
