Serialization begins on “Fist of the North Star Day.” “Fist of the North Star” is a hard-boiled action manga written by Buronson and illustrated by Hara Tetsuo that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump ( Shueisha ) from 1983 to 1988.
Set at the end of the century, when the world is ruled by violence, the story depicts Kenshiro, the successor to the Hokuto Shinken, as he carries the burden of love and sorrow as he grows into a savior. September 13th, the day the series first began serialization, is designated as “Fist of the North Star Day” and has been recognized as such by the Japan Anniversary Association.
ABEMA’s official free “Fist of the North Star” channel will broadcast all 152 episodes of the TV anime series “Fist of the North Star” and “Fist of the North Star 2” for free every day starting from 5:00 pm on Friday, August 8th.
Additionally, on weekends, the channel will broadcast “Fist of the North Star: Legend of the True Savior Pentalogy,” a tale of men living at the end of the century, for free every week. Also, on “Fist of the North Star Day,” Saturday, September 13th, ABEMA will broadcast all episodes of the spin-offs “DD Fist of the North Star,” “DD Fist of the North Star 2,” and “Fist of the North Star Strawberry Flavor,” all of which feature the characters’ high-energy gags, for the first time in their entirety. The episodes will also be available for free streaming for one week after broadcast.
