The ending theme for Season 1 of the TV anime “What Will the Strongest King Do in His Second Life?” is “Midday Moon,” sung by singer-songwriter Seiza. The non-credit ending video, the synopsis and scene cuts of the first episode, and the web trailer have also been released.

“What Will the Strongest King Do in His Second Life?” Season 1 will air on Fuji TV’s “+Ultra” slot and other channels on April 2, April 2. The non-credit ending video depicts the main character Arthur’s growth and encounters with important people, set to the song “Midday Moon.” Seiza also commented on “Midday Moon,” saying, “It’s a song filled with motherhood and warmth, with the motif of a white moon floating in the blue sky at midday, as something that connects those who are leaving and those who are seeing them off.”

In episode 1, “The King is Reborn,” the story suddenly turns when Gray, the strongest king in history, who had obtained everything, suddenly dies. When he wakes up next, he finds himself reincarnated as a helpless baby in the magical world, where he is named Arthur and lives his “second life” with his loving parents. Seiza’s comment: This sky is genuinely connected when I think everyone can see the same moon no matter where they are in the world or how far apart they are. As something that connects those who are leaving and those who are seeing them off, the white moon floating in the blue sky at midday is the motif, and the song is filled with motherhood and warmth.

This is the first song I wrote as an ending theme for an anime, but I created something that is still like me in a good way. I hope you will join Arthur on his journey.
