The TV anime series “A Genius Healer Who Healed in an Instant, But Was Banished as Useless, and Now Lives Happily as a Dark Healer,” commonly known as “Dark Healer,” will begin airing on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other stations on April 3rd. The main PV, OP theme and additional cast members have been announced.

This work is based on a light novel that ranked first in the quarterly overall rankings on “Let’s Become a Novelist.” Zenos, a healer, is suddenly banished from the adventurer party he belongs to by Aston, the party’s leader. Zenos did not have a healer’s license and was considered useless by his party members. Still, he was a genius healer who instantly healed his companions if they were slightly injured. After being banished from the party, Zenos secretly opened a clinic in the town’s ruins, where various patients and troublesome cases came, and eventually, even Krishna, the deputy commander of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Haases, heard the rumors and visited the ruins…

The main PV depicts Zenos’ life as a dark healer, weaving together with a wide variety of characters, including how he fights on the front lines despite being a healer, along with the opening theme song by Bokula. Additional cast members include Yuki Nakajima as Krishna, vice commander of the Imperial Guard known as the Iron Rose; Taku Yashiro as Sonde, the younger brother of Zofia, the leader of the Lizardmen; and Masaaki Mizunaka as Aston, leader of the party to which Zenos belonged. In addition, it has been decided that Yuki Nakajima, who plays Krishna, will appear at the advance screening to be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly on March 2nd, in addition to the prominent cast members Shogo Sakata as Zenos, Miharu Hanai as Lili, and Yoko Hikasa as Carmilla.

Comment from the Opening Theme Artist Bakula. First of all, congratulations on the anime adaptation! An anime song was one of the things I wanted to achieve. The depiction of Zenos’ loneliness firmly applied to me, so I could compose the music this time while carefully reading the story and getting close to his emotions. It was a big promotion to put a person’s life into the sound rather than “music that synergizes with the anime. “I feel a little proud of that. Please look forward to it. I am thrilled that they chose us as the stage for another beginning.

Additional cast comments: Nakajima Yuki, voice of Krishna: I am Nakajima Yuki, and I will be voicing Krishna. Congratulations on the anime adaptation! I am happy to be involved in such an excellent work as Krishna! Krishna is the deputy commander of the Imperial Guard and a strict girl, but as the story progresses, we will see many of Krishna’s true sides! Please look forward to the broadcast to see how she interacts with Zenos and the others! Thank you! Yashiro Taku, voice of Sonde: My name is Yashiro Taku, and I will be playing the role of Sonde. He is a character who mainly appears as a patient of the main character, Zenos, but Zenos saves not only this Sonde but many other characters as well. In addition to physically healing wounds with his abilities, the highlights are the scenes where his personality saves the hearts and positions of others. I hope you enjoy watching it.

Aston—Mizunaka Masaaki I am Mizunaka Masaaki, the voice actor for Aston. Many attractive characters will appear, including Zenos. I can’t wait to see them talk and move. Aston is also a strong character, so please look forward to seeing how he will be involved in the story! Please look forward to the anime broadcast!
