On the 22nd (local time), US media Forbes selected BTS’ Butter to be nominated for ‘Record of the Year’, saying that sometimes there is a clear Grammy Award winner, but this time it is not.

The media predicted that BTS could be nominated again at this awards ceremony and perhaps even receive more than one award. According to a report shared by Billboard, the groups Blackpink, Monsta X, Twice, and Tomorrow X Together are all eligible to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Still, it is difficult to predict whether they will eventually compete for the award.
For now, this is most likely because Blackpink not only ranked #2 on the Billboard album but was also included in the Hot 100 with several hit songs. Other K-pop groups mentioned have also had commercial success in the United States, but at least in a year, Grammy judges are unlikely to pick more than one group in a genre, Forbes said.
