BLACKPINK recaptured the No. 1 spot on the weekly fandom chart of the K-pop chart show ‘K-POP RADAR,’ broadcast throughout the United States.

K-pop chart program ‘K-pop Radar’ is the first regular American radio program in the history of K-pop and is drawing attention. On the 25th, the K-pop Radar Weekly Fandom Chart was announced.

BLACKPINK’s ‘Shut Down’ music video recorded 12.14 million views during the 3rd week of November (November 11, 2022 – November 17, 2022) on the K-Pop Radar, again occupying the top spot. It continued its upward trend while maintaining the top for three consecutive weeks.

In addition, during the counting period of the third week of November on K-Pop Radar, Blackpink’s official Instagram followers increased by 120,000, demonstrating their continued popularity in the global fandom.

K-Pop Radar said, “Even after two months of release, they are still popular and regained the No. 1 spot, showing the momentum of a global top girl group.”

Meanwhile, in the TOP 10 of the Weekly Fandom Chart announced by ‘K-Pop Radar’ this week, the group VERIVERY’s ‘Tap Tap’ entered 6th place at the same time as the comeback, and the group VICTON’s new song ‘Virus ( Virus)’ rose to number 7.

The K-Pop Radar Weekly Trending Chart is the only chart dedicated to K-Pop that is created based on data from major global platforms in line with the current situation of K-Pop, where more than 90% of K-Pop is consumed overseas. It is recognized as a fair and transparent chart by reflecting the number of views and release date of YouTube music videos, as well as the increase and decrease of fandom on major global platforms, such as the increase in Twitter and Instagram followers and the increase in Spotify followers.
