The five-member girl band, Rolling Quartz, had a first solid meeting with overseas fans and solidified their position as a K-rock girl band leading the diversity of K-pop.
On the 8th, Rolling Star Entertainment announced that Rolling Quartz recently appeared at the ‘Otakon 2022 Friday Night Kpop Concert’ and communicated with local fans through music.
Otacon is an annual convention held since 1994 to celebrate Asian pop culture (animation, manga, music, film, video games, etc.) and fandom.
This year, it was held at the ‘Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC for three days from July 29 to 31, gathering 40,000 spectators.
On stage, Rolling Quartz drew the audience’s attention with the American national anthem ‘Forever Stars and Stripe’s performance and then fascinated locals by introducing their major album songs, such as the first single ‘Blaze’ and the mini-album ‘Fighting.’
Their perfect stage performance and performance skills were enough to attract more local responses than idol groups. On the other hand, Rolling Quartz will meet fans through various festival stages, from the Wolpo Rock Festival on the 5th to the Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival (JUMF) and the Songdo Beer Festival on the 26th.
