by Incheon International Airport Corporation (CEO Kim Kyung-Wook) will hold the ‘2022 Incheon Airport Sky Festival (SKY FESTIVAL)’ at Incheon Airport Lawn Plaza and Sky Garden for three days from September 23 to 25.
The Sky Festival, which marks its 18th anniversary this year, is the world’s only airport complex cultural festival and will resume outdoors after three years since the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the first day, September 23 (Friday), the splendid festival starts with the passionate hip-hop contest ‘Let’s Beat in the Sky’ of domestic and foreign breaking dancers. In the final stage of the hip-hop contest, 19 teams (16 domestic teams and three overseas teams) who passed the online preliminary round and advanced to the finals will decide the best. In addition, singer Lee Moo-jin and rapper B.O will present on a particular stage.
Then, on September 24 (Sat), a K-pop concert featuring K-pop representative stars will be held. Top-class famous singers such as The Boyz, Mamamoo, Kepler, BVG, Urban Zakapa, Lee Seok-hoon, and Gaho will appear.
The concert will be broadcast live on this day through Incheon Airport’s official YouTube, 1theK YouTube, MBC K-POP, and It’s Live.
On the last day of the festival, on September 25 (Sun), at 6 pm, a crossover concert featuring movie music, musical performances, and classical music will be held. The first stage of the crossover concert was performed by pianist Dongmin Lim, who has been solidifying his reputation as a world-class performer by winning joint 3rd prize at the 15th Polish Chopin International Piano Competition in 2005, his signature song Schubert Improvisation Op.90, D-899 No.1 No., No. 2 and No. 4 will be decorated.
Second, the 50-member Bordin Symphony Orchestra will present a magnificent stage. Founded in 2011 with the motto of popularizing classical music, the Bordin Symphony Orchestra has been creating a classical stage that approaches the audience through crossover performances of various genres and social music commentary. In this concert, familiar songs such as Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ and Elgar’s ‘Majestic March’ will be played.

The Art Picnic, filled with multiple side events such as paintings, photos, books, design goods, and pop art exhibitions, is expected to be a time of comfort and healing for the body and mind exhausted from daily life, and anyone visiting the lawn plaza can enjoy it for free.
At the Art Picnic, you can meet the paintings and design goods of artists with developmental disabilities who have overcome the difficulties of disability and have grown into artists, including the △ Together Value Design pop-up store, the Incheon and Gyeonggi region independent bookstores, and the △ Art Book Market, where more than 50 artists participate. △In addition, Incheon Airport Travel Photo Contest winners (70 pieces) outdoor exhibition, and giant balloon work by Korea’s representative pop artist ‘Artnom’ will be displayed.
