Kingdom of ‘Fantasy Idol’ successfully finished their 2nd mini album and promised ‘Kingmaker (fandom name)’ a quick comeback.

According to GF Entertainment, on the 28th, Kingdom (Mujin, Louie, Dan, Chiu, Arthur, Ivan, Jahan) released their second mini-album ‘History Of Kingdom: Part 2. Chiu’ (History Of Kingdom: Part II. Chiwoo)’s ‘KARMA’ activities have been completed, and preparations for the next album begin.

On the day of release, Kingdom appeared on various music shows such as Mnet ‘M Countdown’, KBS2 ‘Music Bank’, MBC ‘Show! Music Core, and SBS ‘Inkigayo’. They imprinted their name in the K-pop world with a grand stage for four weeks until Arirang TV’s ‘Simply K-Pop’ on the 23rd.

Befitting the modifier of ‘fantasy idol,’ Kingdom drew admiration by demonstrating its unrivaled performance as if watching a movie on every stage and the ability to dominate the background, which is hard to believe as a rookie. In particular, like the team’s name, which means ‘seven kings from seven kingdoms,’ the colossal worldview also drew attention, drawing an evaluation that it had already formed an intense mania.

As a result, Kingdom began to stand out in various global charts. The title song ‘Karma’ ranked 8th on the US Billboard ‘World Digital Song Sales Chart’. Moreover, among male idol groups that debut in 2021, Kingdom is the only one to enter the charts.

In addition, Kingdom entered the top spot on iTunes and Apple Music charts in 25 countries, including Korea, France, UK, and Japan, and number one on the iTunes dance charts in the US and Mexico. It is unusual for a rookie group to show a sharp rise in popularity in North America.

The interest in foreign media continued. While the US economic magazine Forbes deals heavily with Kingdom, interviews with the various foreign press, including Rolling Stone India and Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post (SCMP), were enough to prove Kingdom’s global popularity.

Kingdom said, “I prepared hard for my first comeback, but it’s a pity that it’s already over.” “I’m so grateful, and I love ‘Kingmaker’ who has been with me for the past month.

On the other hand, Kingdom will continue to communicate with fans through various broadcasts and online content such as online fan signing events and Star TV’s ‘Idol League’ four times from July 31 to August 8 to finish the activity. It will relieve the disappointment.
