They were announced on the 23rd that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sony Music Entertainment Korea (CEO Jang Yoon-Joong) for cooperation in the entertainment business.
Through this agreement, we will cooperate to participate artists belonging to global labels under Sony Music Entertainment, such as Sony Music Korea, in ‘Universe,’ a global K-pop platform that NCsoft is servicing. Together with participating artists, we plan to produce live streaming, pictorials and videos, and AI (artificial intelligence) voice-based services and present them in ‘Universe.’
NCsoft and Sony Music Korea are conducting various global collaborations and the participation of artists in the universe. Sony Music Korea’s distribution channel will showcase the music contents (Universe Music) of artists participating in ‘Universe’ to the global music market.
‘Universe’ is currently in service in 134 countries, including Korea, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. A total of 22 artists are communicating with fans around the world through ‘Universe.’
