Global K-pop fandom platform Whosfan announced on the 12th that it had updated the chat service ‘WhooK’ on a large scale.
In December of last year, Whosfan opened a new chat service, the ‘WhooK’ beta service, and made a connection. ‘work’ is a compound word of ‘Whosfan’ and ‘K-pop’, and it is a chat service customized for K-pop fans that means ‘everything about K-pop you can meet at Whosfan’.
In particular, ‘WhooK’ is hosted on the Whosfan app. It has been actively used in events that require the firepower of the fandom, such as the global advance voting for Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ and the ‘2021 Hanteo Music Awards’ international fan voting at the Hanteo Chart Awards ceremony. Currently, about 1,000 chat rooms are open and active.
Whosfan has implemented a large-scale update to connect more global fandoms through ‘WhooK’. First, considering the characteristics of global multi-fandom, the ‘Multi WhooK’ function that allows you to open and participate in multiple chat rooms has been added.
Fans participating in ‘WhooK’ can communicate with fans for various purposes, such as cheering for artists and sharing images and schedules in chat rooms of various K-pop artists.
In addition, the ‘Add friend’ function has been added to connect K-pop fans and friends who have the same interests as you.
In addition, various fan activities such as encouraging participation in voting are possible with the ‘Share Link’ function.
