Paxby announced on January 28 that it had started a pre-registration event for the ‘Global K-Pop Us Metaverse,’ based on Klaytn Coin of Ground X, a subsidiary of Kakao.
K-Pop Earth, a metaverse developed by Paxby, allows fans and stars to build a city on a virtual planet and record the stars’ footsteps on the virtual planet in the real world. In the same virtual planet as Earth, creatives such as stars and fans can be stored and shared on the blockchain, and users can create and enjoy spaces according to their tastes, such as shopping malls, galleries, lecture halls, and party halls.
Paxby CEO Shin Sung-Cheol said, “Fans want to share and feel close to the stars in real-time, but we made it possible to solve the difficult part due to physical limitations through Metaverse. We plan to strengthen our services so that participation is easy.”
