The second anime episode, “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA,” has aired since April 12th. As Tetsujin (voiced by Minami Takayama) tries every trick in the book to get the attention of Takeru Onimaru (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya ), many viewers commented, “That’s too much lol,” and “That trap is crazy.”
In the second episode, “The Resurrection of the Wind God Sword,” Yaiba challenges Onimaru, a skilled kendo player, to a fight. Still, Onimaru completely ignores him, saying, “You’re weaker than me. Even if you fight with someone like that, your skills will only get duller.” So Yaiba takes off his armor to get Onimaru’s attention. He then scatters the armor around the school and sets up several traps.
When Yaiba asked, “Will you challenge me?” Onimaru refused, saying, “Who would want to challenge a weakling like you…” Yaiba then threw Onimaru’s armor off the roof, causing even Onimaru to panic. He managed to catch the armor and land gracefully on the ground, but this time, he fell into the pit Yaiba had dug. However, Onimaru refused, saying, “You’re annoying! No matter how often I say it, it’s the same!” Yaiba took “an unexpected action.”
The composition of Onimaru swinging around a devilish (?!) blade with an innocent smile drew laughter from viewers, who commented, “That’s too much, lol,” “That’s a dangerous trap,” and “That’s pretty cruel.”
“Shin Samurai Den YAIBA ” is based on a manga by Gosho Aoyama that was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” (Shogakukan) from 1988 to 1993.
The story begins when Tetsujin, a wild child who trains in the jungle to become a true samurai, has a fateful encounter with Takeru Onimaru, a skilled kendo practitioner. A TV series was also broadcast in the 1990s; this is the second time it has been adapted into an anime in 31 years.
Episode 2: “The Resurrection of the Fuujin Sword”
Hajime tries to get his attention to challenge Onimaru. Onimaru doesn’t pay him any attention, but a fight finally breaks out when Shonosuke the Vulture chases Hajime from the jungle and destroys his precious pigeon coop.
Humiliated by Hajime’s shoddy sword, Onimaru is so frustrated that he destroys the lantern in his house. Then, by chance, he finds the stairs leading to the basement and the magic sword, the Fuujin Sword.
