IG Port <3791> announced a collaboration with Animoca Brands Co., Ltd. (BKK) on the 17th. Group companies Production IG and Wit Studio have licensed Animoca Brands to expand its NFT (Non-Fungible Token) utilization of animation works globally.
From June, NFT campaigns for three animations, “Bubble,” “Vampire in the Garden,” and “GREAT PRETENDER,” produced by Wit Studio, will be held in sequence. Each NFT campaign seems to use the platforms of ABKK’s partners, UCOLLEX INTERNATIONAL LIMITED and MadWorld HONG KONG LIMITED.
The characters and famous scenes of each anime work will be sold as NFT products, aiming to build new ways of enjoying and interacting with each other through NFT works. Furthermore, by expanding globally, it will create a community where anime fans from all over the world will gather and challenge various ways to enjoy new animation works unique to web3.0.
Wit Studio has been involved in the animation production of “Attack on Titan” and is currently co-producing the popular manga “SPY x FAMILY” with “CloverWorks.”
