Netflix anime ‘Spriggan’ characters rally, powerful key visual completed

The key visuals for the Netflix series anime “Spriggan” have been released.

This work is based on the adventure action manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” (published by Shogakukan) from 1989 to 1996 by Hiroshi Takashige (original) and Ryoji Minagawa (drawing). It depicts the activities of Yu Ominae (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi), a boy who is struggling as a special agent “Spriggan” of the organization “Arkham” established to seal the heritage of ultra-ancient civilization.

The key visuals are the main character, Yu, Jean Jackmond (Yohei Azakami), Director Yamamoto (Kenji Hamada), Steve H. Foster (Akio Otsuka), Rie Yamabishi, Hatsuko Sasahara, Kaho Sasahara, Yoshino Somei ( Mariya Ise), Lt. Maria Clementi, Koichi Double Blade (Kenji Narita), Colonel McDougall (Ayumu Murase), Little Boy, Fatman, Akatsuki Iwao (Yohei Hosoya), Mirage (Takehito Koyasu), Bo Blanche (Inada) Toru), Larry Marcuson (Ryota Takeuchi), Bowman and many other characters gathered together for a robust design. Shuhei Handa, the character design and animation director, worked on the original drawing for this visual, Mai Nakazono for CG, Ami Kutsuna, Emiko Okada, Noriko Komada for painting, a blueprint for art, and Yosuke Motoki for the finish.

The Netflix series “Spriggan” will be exclusively distributed worldwide from June 18. On the official Twitter of the work (@spriggan_anime), a follow-up and retweet campaign, in which ten posters not for sale using key visuals are drawn by lottery, is being held until 11:59 pm on June 5.
