“Until a Witch Dies” is based on a fantasy novel by Saka and Korefuji, currently being published by Dengeki no Shinbungei (KADOKAWA).
The story follows Meg Raspberry, an apprentice witch cursed with only one year left to live, as she struggles to gather 1,000 people’s worth of “tears of joy” to break the curse. ABEMA will broadcast the show on the web before its terrestrial broadcast every Tuesday night at midnight.
Episode 3: “Wisdom Arrives from the East”
While Faust is away at home and Meg is at home alone, she is visited by Inori, one of the Seven Sages from the East, the “Witch of Wisdom.” As they continue to talk, Inori realizes that Meg doesn’t have much time left to live.
