by The definitive edition of the official guidebook for the TV anime “Tokyo Revengers” will be released today on January 17th.
This book has been re-edited based on the “Tokyo Revengers TV Anime Official Guidebook” released in July 2009. Fifty-three pages of new information such as settings after episode 13 and copyright illustrations have been added, and it is the final preservation version with some revised designs.
In addition to a new special round-table talk between Mitsuya, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Masaaki Mizunaka, Chifuyu, and Sho Karino, the director also has a dialogue Koichi Hatsumi and producer Kosuke Yokota looking back on all 24 episodes.
The original manga “Tokyo Revengers” by Ken Wakui is about Takemichi Hanagaki, a part-time jobber who challenges “life revenge” after a time leap 12 years ago. Both the TV anime version broadcast from April to September 2009 and the live-action movie version released in July attracted attention, and the stage version was also performed in August.
