The music video for BLACKPINK’s ‘As If It’s Your Last’ has surpassed 1.1 billion views on YouTube.
According to YG Entertainment, on the 18th, BLACKPINK’s ‘As If It’s Your Last’ music video surpassed 1.1 billion YouTube views around 5 pm on the same day. This is about seven months after the 1 billion views monumental tower was built.
As a result, Blackpink has four music videos with over 1.1 billion views. This is the highest number among K-pop artists, male and female.
The music videos for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU, ‘Kill This Love,’ and ‘Boombayah,’ which reached 1.1 billion views before ‘As If It’s Your Last,’ are currently 1.8 billion and 1.5 billion views, respectively—heading towards 1.4 billion views.
Released in June 2017, ‘As If It’s Your Last’ was selected by US Billboard as one of the ‘Top 25 YouTube Songs that hit this summer. It was also selected as the ‘World’s Most Loved K-Pop Video’ that year.
Meanwhile, the number of subscribers to Blackpink’s YouTube channel, which has produced a total of 32 billion-view videos so far, has reached 70 million. This number has increased by nearly 5 million since Lisa’s recent solo debut.
