Singer Hong Jin-young turned on the green light for global activities with K-pop collaboration.
Park Joon-il, CEO of JP Forest, Hong Jin-young’s global agency, said in a press release on the 13th, “Hong Jin-young’s ‘Girl In The Mirror (feat. It entered the top 10 selected K-pop collaborations.”
Top 10 K-pop collaborations include ‘Left & Right’ by Jungkook and Charlie Puth, ‘Bad Decisions’ by BTS, Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg, ‘WORLD’ by Seventeen and Enmari, as well as ‘Girl In The Mirror’ by Hong Jin-young and Froly.’ was nominated.
An official from LA Wire said about Hong Jin-young’s new album, “The trot genre and pop met and created a new synergy. This album, in which major American composers joined forces with Hong Jin-young, was the biggest challenge in all of her past music activities, and that challenge showed synergy with the public.”
He added, “We expect Hong Jin-young’s new album, which is gradually gaining grades on various platforms such as Shazam and iTunes, to produce good results.” The top 10 K-pop collaborations will be published in LA Wire as a December special.
The agency, IMH Entertainment, said, “With songs released in 2022 ranging from ‘Viva La Vida’ in April to the latest song ‘Girl in the Mirror’ gaining popularity overseas, in the new year, the diversity of K-music through overseas activities. So we will focus on spreading the word.”
