Younha’s ‘Sculpture of the Star,’ US Billboard’s Best K-Pop of the Year

Singer Younha received rave reviews from Billboard after Time magazine in the US.

Younha’s 6th regular album, ‘ END THEORY,’ the title song ‘Sculpture of the Star’, was released on the 17th (local time) on the official website of Billboard, an American music media, as ‘Best K- for 2021 selected by critics’. It was named in ’25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2021: Critics’ Picks.’

Billboard said, “Although K-pop is famous for its exquisite creations, singer-songwriter Younha has a presence in its simplicity. ‘Sculpture of a Star’ is a simple and beautiful chord that grows naturally within the orchestral direction of the song without relying on dramatic connections or key changes. Repeat the process.” He also praised “‘Sculpture of the Stars’ is undoubtedly one of the best K-ballads of the year, and although it looks so simple, it shines even more with a captivating performance.”

In addition, Younha’s 6th regular album, ‘ END THEORY,’ was selected as ‘Best K-Pop Album’ in ‘The Best K-Pop Songs and Albums of 2021’ announced by Time magazine, a US weekly news magazine. It has demonstrated its global presence.
