BTS, ‘PTD’ 3 weeks in a row + 1st place ‘Sweep’ Twice ‘What is Love?’

The group BTS continues the myth of all-kill on the K-Pop radar weekly chart for three weeks in a row.

BTS’ ‘Permission to Dance’ music video recorded about 32.42 million views during the 30th week of the K-Pop Radar counting period (July 18 – July 24), climbing to the top for three consecutive weeks.

A K-Pop Radar official said, “It is the first time for an artist to occupy the top spot on the K-Pop Radar weekly chart for three weeks in a row.”

He added, “Currently, the number of views per day is on the rise ahead of the MV for ‘MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) (Feat. Desiigner), surpassing 1 billion views.

In addition to ‘Permission to Dance,’ the music videos for ‘Butter,’ ‘Dynamite,’ and ‘A Poem for Small Things’ also recorded high views, showing the power of BTS, which accounted for half of the TOP 10.
Among them, TWICE’s ‘What is Love?’, who boarded the train departing from TikTok, recorded 5.46 million views, a significant increase of 1.64 million views compared to the previous week, and newly entered the 10th place, attracting attention.

In addition, Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ (7.86 million views), Blackpink’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU (6.52 million views), and TWICE’s ‘Alcohol-Free’ (5.74 million views) View) and Blackpink’s ‘Kill This Love’ (5.48 million views) took the top 10.
