Gyeongnam Changwon City announced on the 20th that the 2022 Changwon K-Pop World Festival would be held on October 7th at Changwon Sports Complex.

The World Festival, which celebrated its 11th anniversary this year, is the largest Hallyu festival in the world. Participants who love K-pop from around the world compete in their performance skills.

The World Festival was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and last year, the final contests of overseas K-POP participants were held non-face-to-face. Therefore, it will be held commonly, with the final stage held in Changwon for the first time in three years.

Previously, global auditions were held in 100 regions around the world. After two rounds of expert screening of the top teams in each country, eight teams from 8 countries, including the Netherlands, Norway, Nigeria, Germany, Mongolia, Bulgaria, Chile, and Japan, were selected to compete in the finals. pays off
