With this agreement, Eumrehyup and Hanteo Global will cooperate related to the development of the Korean music industry, such as cooperative partnership cooperation to expand the popular music business joint planning of the ‘Seoul Music Forum’ other tasks related to the development of the Korean music industry such as mutually agreed upon as necessary to spread popular music culture We plan to promote various cooperative projects.

Hanteo Global owns and operates the world’s only real-time music chart, ‘Hanteo Chart’, and is conducting an artist accelerating business based on artificial intelligence analysis technology based on big music data. In addition, based on this, we are delivering K-POP-related news to global fans through the Hanteo News media and Whosfan News TV channel. We are providing various K-POP events and services that satisfy our customers.

‘Whosfan,’ which was officially launched in May of last year, succeeded in securing 5.5 million users in one year thanks to the support of the global K-pop fandom and is showing rapid growth, recently surpassing 6.3 million users.

The Eumrehyup is playing a role in helping the market develop in a balanced way by introducing a variety of music to the domestic famous music market. To this end, we are responding jointly to government policies to deliver the voices of the industry and support campaigns and projects for the common good. Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea Creative Content Agency are implementing a ‘popular music performance manpower support project’ to overcome the damage caused by COVID-19.

Hanteo Global CEO Kwak Young-ho signed this agreement and said, “I am happy to be with the Korea Music Label Industry Association. We will do our best to grow together with K-Indie’s diverse music genres, which produce music independently from large capital.”

The two companies plan to jointly plan the ‘2021 Seoul Music Forum’ to be held on the 16th and 17th as the first project through this agreement.
