On July 14, NTT DoCoMo started offering “XR City,” a new sensation street play AR service that allows you to experience a new world where digital and the natural world are fused using a smartphone.

XR City is a service in which AR content suitable for the location is displayed when the smartphone downloads the dedicated application “XR City,” which is held over the user’s service area.

In XR City, the theme is “AR filter,” which allows you to take pictures and videos that look good on SNS using AR content displayed in the space, “mystery solving content” that collaborated with SCRAP, which is popular in real escape games, and SDGs.
